You can’t outwork it. You can’t out-hustle it. You can’t slap a motivational quote over it and pretend it’s not there. It becomes a relentless and persistent struggle that shows up as self-doubt, overthinking, or feeling “stuck” in life.
And every time you listen to it — even for a second — it robs you.
It robs you of peace. Of progress. Of presence in your relationships. You start filtering your entire life through a lens of not enough.
Before long, you’re not just hearing the critic… you’re becoming it.
This isn’t about forcing positivity. This is real, science-backed work to help you give your inner critic a new role using Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT).
Those internal battles of emotional storms that have followed you from childhood into adulthood? RTT targets and rewires deep-rooted beliefs and emotional patterns.
So, when you identify the root cause and make the connection with how it’s showing up in your world today – that realisation becomes the key to lasting change. You get to collaborate with your mind instead of fighting it, giving your inner critic a new role, function, and purpose.

Developed by Marisa Peer, Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a contemporary therapeutic intervention drawing upon powerful solution focused techniques including Hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT and Psychotherapy to offer fast results. It is a practical method that helps you uncover the root cause of the thoughts, beliefs, or behaviors that are keeping you stuck. Using a combination of proven techniques RTT allows you to access your subconscious mind, reframe old patterns, and install new, empowering beliefs.
In simple terms, RTT helps you break the cycle of self-sabotage by getting to the root cause behind it—then guiding you through a shift that actually sticks. Most clients experience a breakthrough after just one session, followed by a personalized audio to reinforce the changes over a 21-day period. It’s supportive, deeply insightful, and results-driven—perfect for anyone ready to stop just coping and finally experience real change.
I’d arranged to meet up with my husband at a coffee shop. Nothing unusual about that on any other day. But this wasn’t any other day. Far from it. Our ‘normal’ felt like it existed in a different world….
THIS conversation was us meeting for the first time – in a neutral setting – after he had driven his car at speed into the back of a parked truck several weeks earlier, in an attempt to no longer be on this planet.
Miraculously, he walked away from the crumpled wreck without a scratch. Although there were no physical injuries, having served his country in the Army and getting deployed several times overseas, he was wounded already – just not physically.
As for me, I was upset, angry, felt guilty, and confused. Imagine all the negative self-talk screaming at me. “How could I be so blind?” “I’m so useless – I didn’t even realise he was thinking this way – a wife is supposed to know these things…” “I wasn’t enough for him to want to stay…” You get the idea.
Driving to the coffee shop I was praying and telling God that “if you want me to work through this with him I need to hear these things come out of his mouth…” I listed 10 specific things I needed to hear from my husband. When we finally sat down to talk, he spoke each one of those 10 things on my list, in the exact sequence I listed them to God. I took a breath. This was the beginning of a long road to recovery for us both.
I continued to struggle with negative self-talk for months, until I realised something. If anything was going to change – that change had to start with me. The very first thing I started to work on, was the negative self-talk because I was exhausted from the spirals it would often throw me into.
Fast forward to a few years down the track, that one decision I made sparked a passion for personal development – which turned into completing a nationally recognised qualification in Life Coaching and also becoming an accredited Rapid Transformational Therapy practitioner.
Integrating my faith, lived experience, and training puts me in no better place for helping others confront their inner critic and give it an entirely new and more powerful role.
I wasn’t kidding when I mentioned a passion for personal development. When I learned (with practice) how to work on my inner critic and turn it into my inner coach – the mental fog of everything I was going through with my husband began to clear. From those experiences, I knew I wanted to help others – so that took me down the path you see here.
I was getting counselling at the time for a season but it often felt like I was just doing lots of talking and processing. This was helpful – but I was also needing practical application for things I could do differently. I began ‘experimenting’ with using coaching techniques as a method to improve communication in our marriage. I couldn’t afford to just ‘react’ due to my husband’s PTSD. Mirroring his emotional state was a no-go zone for me. So I HAD to learn a different approach. When I saw how adopting a coaching approach led to us opening up more to each other…I was hooked…and I wanted to learn more.
Several years later I walked away from my combined studies – qualified and certified to do what I love. Helping people experience lasting change.

With Rapid Transformational Therapy, real breakthroughs can happen in just one to three sessions. By going straight to the root of the issue in your subconscious mind, RTT helps you shift long-standing patterns quickly and effectively.
Instead of willpower or surface-level affirmations, RTT uses multiple proven modalities (hypnotherapy, CBT, NLP, neuroscience) to break the cycle of quitting on yourself or playing small. It helps dissolve deep-seated feelings of not being enough, so you can show up in your life with a new depth of resilience and confidence.
This is what it's all about - transformational change. RTT uses powerful tools to resolve and rewire, not just relieve symptoms. Following the session, you are given a custom audio recording along with coaching support for 21-days as you adapt and step into a more empowered version yourself.
Because RTT® is a complete, solution-based approach, it can be used in many different ways. RTT® has achieved phenomenal success in helping people overcome all kinds of challenges, including physical health issues, infertility, depression, addiction, anxiety, fears and phobias, and weight management. One of my clients broke a 10+ year drinking habit after one session!
Absolutely. I have worked with a number of clients who complete a coaching program with me, tailored to their specific needs.
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) works by helping you get to the root of the issue—not just manage the symptoms. It combines the best of hypnotherapy, neuroscience, cognitive behavioral therapy, and coaching to create deep, lasting change.
Here’s how it works:
During a session, you’ll be guided into a deeply relaxed state (a bit like daydreaming) so we can access your subconscious mind. That’s where long-standing beliefs and emotional patterns are stored—often formed in childhood without you even realizing it.
We gently explore where those beliefs came from, so you can understand why you feel the way you do and begin to let it go. Then, using powerful, personalized language, we replace those outdated patterns with new, empowering ones—through a custom audio you’ll listen to for 21 days after the session.
RTT isn’t about fixing you—because you’re not broken. It’s about helping you reconnect with the version of yourself that’s confident, clear, and free from the weight of what’s been holding you back.
That’s such a common concern—and completely understandable. Many people worry that hypnosis is some form of mind control or that they’ll lose awareness during the process. The truth is, hypnosis is a natural, safe, and scientifically supported method for accessing the subconscious mind—not a way for someone to “take over” your thoughts.
Here’s what you need to know:
Hypnosis simply guides your brain into a deeply relaxed, focused state—similar to when you’re daydreaming, driving on autopilot, or deeply absorbed in a good book. In that state, your conscious mind quiets down, allowing us to work with the subconscious beliefs that drive your emotions and behaviours.
You’ll still hear everything I say. You’ll still be aware of where you are. And you’ll never do or say anything you don’t want to. In fact, you’re in control the entire time—hypnosis just makes it easier for you to access the parts of your mind that are usually hidden from view.
Best of all, hypnosis is backed by decades of research and is used in everything from trauma recovery to pain management and even surgery prep. In Rapid Transformational Therapy, we use it as a powerful, proven tool to help you get to the root of an issue and create meaningful change—fast.
So if you’re nervous, that’s okay. You don’t need to “do” anything. Just bring your willingness and curiosity—we’ll take it step by step together.
Sessions are predominantly held online via Zoom.
Before the session, an Intake Call is scheduled, which goes for one hour. For the RTT Session itself it is up to 90 minutes in duration.
